Do You Love Online Trophies or Hate it?

Most games have trophies lately and some of them have trophies that is require to get them only by playing online with your friends or with new friends. Do you love online trophies or do you hate it?
Online trophies is alright, but I do hate online trophies that are required to get the Platinum trophy. I think getting Platinum trophy should be only played as single player mode and not by multiplayer mode online. There are some games that the company of the game shut down the servers of the multiplayer mode once hardly anyone is playing online or if the sales of that game are horrible. Those people who do have the game or gets it will never get a Platinum trophy just cause the game doesn't have multiplayer mode up anymore.
I say they should put online trophies, but not counted as Platinum trophy. Wouldn't be fair to people who can't get those trophies just cause they shut down the online servers.
So what do you think, do you love them or hate those online trophies?

I hate online trophies because most of the time, I usually avoid a game's online mode. I much prefer playing alone in single player, and having empty trophy sets really irritates my borderline OCD personality :D
Online trophies make me feel as though I'm being forced to play online, when I'd rather just jump into the online mode at my own pace.

I feel the same way. I like to play alone than online. If I play online it's to have fun with my friends, but usually I'm forced to play online just cause I want to get platinum of the game. Sometimes I just boost the online trophies unless the online mode is very fun then I won't boost the online trophies of the game.

Makes it more annoying if the person doesn't have broadband internet to play the games online and can't get a platinum just cause they can't get online.

I have heard of those games that it's impossible to platinum now because of the required online trophy/ies and/or they have shutdown their servers because no one is playing it anymore or they have introduced a newer version of that game. Good thing I haven't been exposed to this kind of treatment in my trophy hunting on the PS3.
Online trophies are ok for me. I just dislike some online trophies that requires you playing together with another or a couple of people just to get the trophies.

I think online thropies is a good way to play more and more a videogame because after you finish it you have to replay if you want to get all thropies. Me for example I had to play again Fallout 3 because I never connected my playstation 3 to internet. Now that I downloaded last update I can have the throphy support. Fallout is a good game so you can replay with pleasure but if you have a bad game is hard to get all trophies! :D cheers

I like trophies, they give me a motivation to keep playing the game even after I beat it.
