I never thought that this simple song could really stick to the minds of others. I've said on one of my discussions that most of the female singers right now are using music as their platform to say what's on their mind and be an example. One of my friends is a homosexual and he told me that he almost committed suicide because of the things that happened to him when he started going out of the closet. He told me that this song really made him feel that who really cares and even if other people thinks that he's wrong this is what he really is.
He said he likes the chorus part that says "So raise your glass if you are wrong In all the right ways All my underdogs, we will never be, never be Anything but loud And nitty gritty dirty little freaks Won't you come on, and
Raise your glass for me." Never thought he'd feel strongly for this song. How about you guys? Any songs that made you feel empowered?

I love Pink so so much! She's definitely my favorite of all time. Great singer, great songwriter. Her music just makes me feel good about myself and embracing your wholeness as a human being. There are so many songs that Pink had sung that really stuck in my mind and that they really have great lyrics that are so inspiring. Raise your glass is my current favorite song of Pink. I love her songs. All of them are just so terrific. I'm beginning to like her newest single called F*****' Perfect. Really cool stuff!

I think Pink is a great singer. She has quite a few songs that really say something in the lyrics. I hope that more singers try to do this and maybe it starts to change how people thing. I'm glad that your friend felt better hearing this song.

Songs can heal our mind and soul. Songs are powerful source of tool because it's something all of us can connect to. It's the same like getting over a heartbreak, and falling in love. All those songs we listened to, they tend to wake us up from the despair we are facing. Songs made me feel empowered til date is only, Whole again, by atomic kittens. I really like that song.
