another implemented rules again in our city, those car parked on the street should have an over night sticker parking(5pm to 5am),because if your car dont have this they will confiscate the car and will charge you to redeem it. and we should buy this over night sticker at the city hall of our city. do you agree on this kind of implemented rules?

I don't live in a city but we have a similar policy about parked car in the streets. In our "Barangay", where the national road is, cars or any types of vehicles are not allowed to be parked along side the streets at anytime, it was supported by the local government of our town, so if you really need to park your car and you don't have a parking lot, then you need to rent one or look for a vacant lot, where you can park it. But I have a better suggestion. Why not put a law that prohibits a person to register their cars if they don't have a parking space. Sounds silly, but this can work. :)

How will they know if the guy have or have not a parking place so the guy may lie right that's really not worth it. Same time it's a money grabber for the govt . Don' t like those parking fee stuff I've been charge too much and govt is the one making money out of you and me.

I think it's a good law. It will really lessen the cases of stolen cars in your city, if there is none yet well is will most likely not happen because of this law. And i think it will help you city earn money to have more projects that your city may benefit from it.

Just another way for the city to make money. Some people have no place to park except in the road...company coming...where do they park? Even so, I park in the yard on the other side of the sidewalk, so my Mom can get in and out of her driveway, when all along, I thought they should have made a circle drive going around the house.

That's really sucks ! you know why because it's really hurt your pocket . So you need stickers which you should buy thru the gov't also so they can make money eh. What part of the city are you living there in manila ba? or Quezon city. Maybe Makati with Mayor Binay Jr eh! Well here where I lived I remember I just park the opposite way and city just charge me $ 40 for parking wrong way, then two times I was charge illegal parking without parking fee , then I didn't reply for paying they charge me double ( I had to pay 90 bucks!), those parking company is really a total rip off people here in my place . I hope they been cursed and big time they will go bankrupt I wish!

I think your city is exercising it's police power in this case, i am referring to the police power as defined under the constitution. By imposing this law they can protect the people's car from getting carnapped. if we get these stickers for parking over night it means that the city should be responsible for taking care of my care which would make it safe. And in addition, i would be helping my city earn more money so that there would be more projects that could be useful for the community.

I guess this is a way for the city to increase the money in their coffers. They might be short on funds and may have their budget cut by the government. So they probably are finding ways to fund their projects and this is one way for them to make more money. The money would probably go back to the people or perhaps to pay the salary of workers in the city council. I don't think it's wrong for the city to charge overnight parking because if the car owners can afford to buy cars, they should also be able to pay for everything that goes with owning cars like parking fees and so on.

This is not cool. Why do we need these? It's like martial law regarding cars.

Maybe it is the rule that you should comply with. Otherwise, you should be fine. Anyway, different cities have different rules of themselves. So, if you want to follow up, you should purchase that ticket for avoiding the penalty sake. Otherwise, park somewhere else, or purchase your own parking space.

I don't understand the real reason for it, maybe they want some money from your pocket. So I think now you have to buy the sticker and if I am not wrong you have to buy this sticker only once, right? If it is costly then it is wrong to put this kind of law. Otherwise it is okay, maybe it will help the police and the city.

What city is this and that's a great idea. We probably should try that in NY, it'll make us more money and the mayor can stop saying he doesn't have money for this and that.
