Health foods that lowers cholesterol and high blood pressure.

            I want to start this discussion coz i believe that experiences help a lot in our day to day living... so with the foods that we ate. So c'mmon everyone who can read this, please share, i am sure its not only me who will benefit for this but everyone here on mylot. I will wait for your comments then.

                    from what i have learned, eating fish and oatmeal can lower cholesterol. while garlic has an antihypertensive effect. :) but i think the major thing that can lower cholesterol and blood pressure is exercise. i know its not a food, but since we're talking about lowering cholesterol and BP, i just thought it might also be helpful. :)

                    There's a lot of site that you can search, that could lower the cholesterol and avoid high blood pressure. Here are some foods that could lower cholesterol such as Nuts, almonds, oatmeal etc. or try this website www.healthassist.net. It might help you this.

                    I have read that eating raw cucumber such as in salads helps in lowering cholesterol and high blood pressure. 
But generally from various health books , fruits and vegetables are said to help in lowering cholesterol, specially citrus fruits! As to high blood pressure - avoid salty and fatty foods. Avoid eating the skin of the chicken.
