What exactly is the Mayan Calendar?

Actually the Mayan Calendar are from the earlier races who rule those land before the Mayans, the Aztecs. The Mayans Calendar are actually from the Aztecs (it is usually called the Aztec Calendars). The Aztecs are the one who built their own version of pyramids i.e. the Pyramid of the Sun, Pyramid of the Moon and other monolithic structures. Those known artifacts of calendars are found mostly from those monolithic structures or pyramids of temples. Those structures are so very far more older than those pyramids in Giza, Egypt. The structures are more bolder, sturdier and stronger. On some knowledges and informations, both of these kinds of cultures and building structures are still a mysteries if we are going to have very deep rooted research. There are still unknown or missing civilizations to be unearthed deeply. It can fall into unknown civilizations or the lost continents of Atlantis (popularized by Plato in ancient times B.C.), Lemuria and so on. It represents the Earth's precession and the position around the Sun, at the Moon and the Milky Way Galaxy. It is actually a Galactic clock or the 26,000 years precessions of the Earth around the universe or galaxy. It is also accordingly to the Equinox and the Solstice seasons of the Earth around the Sun (or the 12 years cycles of seasonal changes of the Earth around the Sun). The what we so called December 21, 2012 at 11:00am are actually the end of the 26,000 year cycles of Earth's precession around the galaxy or the Milky Way. The Milky Way at the Mayan Calendar symbolize by a Serpent. Because, when we look on a very dark and starry nights, and if we have a chance that the position of the Earth we are standing facing the Milky Way it is looks like a very big Serpent. The Milky Way is our and Earth's own galaxy in the universe. If we see the Milky Way we have a chance to see the center of our galaxy.
