What do think of the battle of Troy?Do U think the wodden horse is a wise plan ?

When I was only a small child, I have already heard about the war of the Wooden Horse and actually I have seen it on TV when I was young. The TV program was about a science fiction concerning a time machine in which people can travel back to the historical world and witnessing what had happened in the past world. It was fun for a kid like me when I was still in primary school.When I grow up, I watched different movies about this story again and the feeling was so different and it was so sad to see people get killed while they were lack of alertness. Anyway, it is your turn to share with us now. Tell us what you think about this battle and was it a was it a wise plan ?

I think the wooden horse was a really wise plan (by Odysseus). But it had some risks though, people could always listen to Paris and burn the horse..good thing they didn't. But I really feel sad abut about the Trojans who were killed..Times before were so ruthless.

Yea it was pretty much luck that got them to win that war. The Greeks went out on a limb in order to defeat the Trojans and just hoped it would work. If the Trojans hadn't accepted the gift, then Greece would have had no chance and Troy would have remained tall.

I think that this was excellent idea to win a war... However that time war was different and I don't think that it was more sad that nowadays war. Maybe I believe that time was more bravery and courage in people especially in soldiers, but who knows... Cunning plans are existing nowadays and are more dangerous than wooden horse

Yes, terrible plan are taking place in today's world. people are all going crazy that they don't destroy others but also destroy themselves and still think that they are hero. It is just mush terrible than the wooden horse and I wonder who would put those terrible ideas in their mind.Other than the fallen angel, I couldn't think of anyone who did that. That's why we all need the salvation of Jesus . Apart from that, I don't think we human have any hope.

For a very long time they thought the battle of Trot didn't happen. Now there is evidence it happen. If the Trojan Horse thing really happen those who were in the horse would of had to put up with a lot of things! Like the heat,most likely no water and they had to be absolutley still and quiet until the city of Troy was all a sleep so they could leave the horse. I hope this was true but how could those men survived in the Trojan horse in such unbareable conditions? That is what I would like to know!

I saw the Troy movie pretty recently only. And i think the wooden horse was really a great plan . But i still cannot believe that the trojans are such a big fools not even thinking that men could be there inside this much big size wooden horse. The Trojan leader had a great responsibility, also it is the time of war, and why he acted so foolishly. Also it is very sad that an entire city fell because of love. You can understand one thing from here. Falling for another man's wife is really very dangerous.

It was a brilliant idea!I always imagined the wooden horse size- they must be huge enough to placed many people, hide and disguise them.Even if there are many versions of this story, the basic is we get the point of using an unusual idea that others will not ever thought of it.A wise strategy anyway.

Well, when someone wins a war by the other side accepting their defeat, they tend to become so proud of themselves that they forget to check for traps or something, maybe that is why it backfired with the present they so blindly accepted
