Hello my friends.
I'm a student of high school, and there's just a year left before I enter to the university, but I don't know what to study yet.
I would want to be a detective, because that's an interesting job. I've been influenced by some books and movies, and I think detective's live is the life I want for me.
Now I need to know what do I have to study to become a detective? Is there an university career for that? Or just have to do courses? If anyone knows about this or have any comments please share.

In my country, you have to take up B.S. Criminology, then join the Philippine National Police, then join CID or crime and investigation division or SOCO (Scene of the crime operatives).
You can also take up a four year course, then take up Law proper. When you are already a lawyer, apply as an agent of the NBI or National bureau of Investigation, lawyers have a greater chance of being accepted.

In my country you need to take criminology in college, this would lead to being a policeman or detective. But in the USA they have different courses for this profession. I think criminal law will also lead to being a detective. Have you read Stanley Gardner's books? His main character is Perry Mason, he is is a lawyer detective. I loved reading those books, great stories. But i heard these books are no longer available, they stopped printing it.
