Do You Remember How You felt having Came To Know About Your Tenth Class Results?

Tenth Class Examination used to be conducted by State Board. The results at that time used to come in the Local News Papers. This I am talking about the year 1975 when I passed my tenth standard examination. Since I was not very good student in the school I never had any big expectations from my Tenth class examinations.One fine evening my father he came from him office and he told me along with other family members that I passed my tenth class examination in first class. He got the news from the one of the News Paper Office. Having known my result and the procedure to procure the results from Local News Paper Press ,our friends we gathered into a group and went to the Press, where we were made to stand in a row along with a piece of paper on which we were suppose to write our roll number, then the paper was taken in to the person carrying the gazette, and then after few minutes the peon used to come back with the results written against the number! I got my total mentioned against my roll number. the marks were of First division and believe me I was on the seventh cloud! I can't express the feeling what I experienced at that moment!
