John Nese owns Galcos Soda Pop Stop in LA. His father ran it as a grocery store, and he decided to convert it into an awesome soda pop store with about 500 different kinds of pops. He is also a distributor for restaurants and bars along the West Coast. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPbh6Ru7VVM John believes in freedom of choice and says he wants to support small businesses like his. This guy is just so awesome. He loves his job so much that he says that it he doesn't work, he just plays all day. And he hates high fructose corn syrup. Only about 4 or 5 of them aren't made with sugar. All of his drinks are in glass bottles. Needless to say, going to this place has totally been added to my bucket list. I love soda and I think I would end up leaving with a cart-full! Haha! He also has a webstore! Guess where my next check is going. http://www.sodapopstop.com/home.cfm

That sounds like an awesome addition to your bucket list...I may even add it to mine as well! Where exactly is it, do you know? You should go to the Coca-Cola factory too, you can sample a bunch of different sodas and it's a really cool experience, I highly recommend it for soda lovers!

The address is on the website. I'd rather go to the Pepsi factory than the Coca-cola one though. I hate coke. Haha. lol Nah I like a lot of their drinks though.

It sure does look like it's an awesome store! I looked at the website and was amazed at the variety of sodas and the wonderful old fashioned candies I didn't think existed anymore! Jujubes and Pixie Sticks were two of my favorites as a kid and I hardly ever see Jujubees and I can't remember the last time I saw Pixie Sticks. Can I PLEASE join you on your road trip when you go?
