It is well known that sometimes there are a few people in the elevator but now and then people jostle each other in a crowd. For my part I am much afraid of that in which there are only I and other one who I have never met before in the elevator. On that occasion I always feel very awkward no matter whether a man or a woman.Especially if the opposite side looks fierce ,I at once feel nervous for he reminds me of the elevator killers.I doubt if I have seen too many violence videos.Dear mylotters you surely had this experience, but I wonder if you have this feeling too.

Yes I do and I detest elevators. If I have a choice Chang, I take the stairs instead

Same here, the problem is that you often have to walk up 20-odd flights of stairs nowadays.

Oh, relax. Paranoia can be tiring, you know. What are the chances of getting an elevator ride with a ninja assassin who can end you in 2.5 seconds? I work in a huge building and during the day the elevators are always packed. However I work from 2pm to 11 so when it's around past six I usually ride the elevator by myself, and sometimes with one person whom I cannot recall if I had seen before. Hundreds if not thousands work in a building. An elevator ride is just that, nothing to worry about.

Try not to be----that's stressful. Smile at people you ride the elevator with. Maybe that will relax you. Smiling at strangers can do wonders, especially when they smile back. If they don't, then at least you were the pleasant one. :-)

I also thought too much when I'm in an elevator but I just realized that it's not worth it. It's just an elevator ride. Now whenever I'm riding one I just relax and think of whatever I'm thinking.
