Do you give money to the poor one?

helping each others is a good attitude. it is good if we can help poor people. they need our help if we have something to give. but it is goverment duty to handle the poverty. the goverment must responsible to reduce it.

i don't... i try not to give them any... i mean im sure they may have no other means.. but i still think that they should go find themselves work to do so they will earn money through own's hard work, instead of just waiting for days to come and to wait for their responses.

Hi,it is really sad to see such kind of thing. I think if i meet the same thing,i will act as you. I don't often give money to the poor. But when there is a natural disaster or big accident in my country, almost all coworkers and i in my compnay will donate some money to the victims. I think we should try our best to do something good.

Hi care guarden: I think your action was really good and I congratulate you for that. But in my case I don't give money to the poor. In my case I'd buy bread to this man in order to help him. I prefer to give food and not money to the persons that really need it because when you give money they'll ask later for more money. It won't help. And at the same time you don't know what do they spend the money for. I prefer to do something a little bit different. I always buy my coffee to a woman that is poor and really need my help. I think that's my way to help others. ALVARO

giving money or other amenities e.g, food, clothing, etc is indeed a good deeds. Of course, they needy and we should help. God above will surely give you a rewards for doing such god deeds

help as you want to, nothing's wrong with it, nothing's wrong either if you don't help when you see the person you're helping is stronger than you, you saw the difference. what's wrong is when you doubt too much or take sometime to reconsider helping that person...it shows that you are not ready to help. in this times you just have to help fast and be happy you have helped someone. don't forget to leave a smile for the person.

It's really nice that you did that. I applaud you for it. I would certainly give them some, but at the same time, I don't have a lot of money to play with for myself. I might occasionally do it, but I don't have the chance of doing it very often. So, it's sometimes difficult for me, unfortunately.

NO..i DON'T because i itself lack of income in my pocket....but yes..if i do have then i wish to give or help dogs than human... because dogs are better then humans..

Hi. I'm at a lost on whether to give the poor money or not. My mind always tells me not to do since giving them dole-outs doesn't really help them. It's better to give them something to earn from. It's like the adage that you don't give the poor fish. You teach them to catch fish. I think giving them money will not solve anything and they'll just keep asking. It reinforces their belief that they can no longer work for a living and that it's better to ask for alms. What you did was very, very commendable. And in situations like that, I would also give the person some money. It's different since he didn't ask for it.

As much as possible, i no longer give alms to the poor. I give them food and clothing. No telling these days really because the bums you see on the street may be used by a syndicate.

Well for me, i have a weakness over old people, i do give money to them, but for those who asking for money that has a fit body, ang children asking for money i don't give them cause here in our country there are lots of syndicate using beggars ...I can give them food but money its a no no for me

hi there. you're definitely right! it's a good thing that each and every one of us must remember. we must help each other, treat each other like solid brothers, when somebody needs our helping hand. i can relate to your story. everyday when i go to school i could meet every scavengers that go over some garbages on the streets and some beggars too of every type. i pity them that much but when i had no choice and got nothing to give, i would not force myself to give something to them. sometimes instead of money i give them some of my food. but if i got excess money, i give all away my coins to them. i got a heart especially to those old ones. sighs... i hope everbody realizes this. i know there are still many people like us. see you around!

We should help the poor. Because They have not much money for their family. They have not money to eat and drink easily. So the poor have right to us.

I have to admit I'm one of those who prefer not to give money to, say for example, children walking around the streets begging... It's just that, I don't know if they really use the money to buy food for themselves, or if they end up just giving the money to members of some syndicate who won't feed them properly anyway. So, I'd much prefer to give food if I have any to give. Sometimes I have this thought, if only I could and I have time to do it, I'd bring them to social services, maybe they can do something for their case...

You are very helpful. I also think people should help each other. But the reality is cruel. Some peoples Cheated others by pretending to the poor, pretending the wallet losted and so on. So I don't know whether to give money to the poor?
