I've tried it all. Some things have worked out well and others have completely wasted my time and energy. It is important to find something that works so that you don't get burned out by too many failed attempts. Obviously, this site 'myLot' is an easy one to start with, but have found great success in another money making strategy while in college. Start your own business! Post an ad on craigslist offering your service of moving help for cheap labor. Make the ad professional and straight to the point, but don't forget to make your readers believe that your moving service will be a better choice than your competitors. Don't forget to re-post your add every couple weeks. Get a buddy or two to give you a hand with the moving jobs. My roommate and I have done it for four years. When we stay current with our ad's, we typically get at least one job a week. We've made anywhere from $50-$300 each on one particular moving job. You can take this as far as you want, but you need the right tools. Any other unique ways that have been successful in earning extra cash in college?

Also, in some collages, they offering Note Takers. Basically you go to someone else's class after signing up for the job *usually offered by the school* and take notes. You get paid sometimes per student or sometimes per class, depending on what the school has.

Homeowners like some protection when you are moving their things. We had movers drop a washing machine down the steps and it had to be replaced by the company. We hired a handyman through craig's list and it ended up being a bad scenario. So when you say to make the readers believe you are something you are not, I fully understand.
