Yao Ming - Yao Ming
I am a Laker fan. If you are a fan of any team, you cannot help but follow the rest of the major players on other teams. After all, they don't play alone. I remember in the early days when Yao first came to America. There was so much excitement and there was much discussion about what would happen when Yao met Shaq - two strong power players. The expression "Who's Yao Daddy now?" came into being which is a spin-off from "Who's yo daddy" . That is still one that really tickles me. I think Yao is great. Not only is he a fantastic player, he has high moral values. That is so admirable for someone in whom kids look up to and see as a role model.

My favorite player in the NBA is Kobe. I've been watching him play a long time. I'm a huge Laker fan. He's just such a fantastic scorer, and has virtually no weakness. I like Yao, since the 2nd half of last season he's proven himself to be the best Center in the league. I didn't think he was going to be that great when I first saw him his first couple of years. I thought he was just going to be another Shawn Bradley. Man, did he prove me wrong.

My favorite player is also Kobe,he is a great scorer and has a kind aura of leadship and alway defeat the component with his fatastic shots. He is one of few NBA players who can be compared with the basketball genius Michael Jordan. With the help of newly-joined Gasol,Laker has the huge possibility to win the champinonship of this season.Good luck to Laker,Good luck to Kobe. Yaoming is also great,he has shown the strong dominant in center.Unfortunately he got injured at the regular season and missed the play-off,hope he gets recovery as soon as possilbe,I'm waiting for his good performance in the future NBA seasons.

My favourite would have to be Steve Nash. Not only is he a great scorer, he makes shots for other people too. A great assist leader for many years now. If he was still in the Mavericks during last year's final, maybe the Mavs could have had a chance to overcome the Miami Heat. When Nash has the ball, you feel that his team is in control. No doubt, however, that most point guards and big men are the backbone of their team. An then of course there's those "Super" players, the likes of D. Wade, Kobe, LeBron James, you know- the ones who can pretty much "Do It All". The bottom line is, my fav player in their respective categories are: Point Guard: Nash and Jason Kidd Shooting Guard: Kobe and LeBron Power Forward: Kevin Garnett Small Forward: D. Wade, Dirk Nowitzki Centre: Yao Ming and Shaq I'm Out! Chillz Ballaz.. adios..

My favorite player would have to be Kevin Garnett. He has one of the most complete games in the NBA. He can block shots, rebound the ball, shoot the ball lights out, and more imporantly he can play tough defense! Another reason why I like him is he's a good rolemodel. He doesn't get in trouble or anything like that. He's an all around great player to admire.

I like Lebron James. He can do it all. He can score, rebound, and asist. He carries his team on his own better than any player in the league. He needs a really good player with him to really contend though. I think the Cavs management owe him that.

Dwayne Wade, a humble basketball star, always works hard & gives the best for his team, but this season has been a horrible season for him, his teammate didn't support him at all. I like Yao Ming too, this season he shows a lot of improvement, but unlucky with injury problem. The retired player that i like is Michael Jordan & Scottie Pippen.

i like yao ming primarily because of his size he moves fast and has a decent outside shot... but my favorite nba player is VINCE CARTER he can drive to the basket, shoot three, can defend, and can pass, and most of all i love his acrobatic moves and drives to the basket and insane dunks.. he is truly a half man half amazing
