ya, it`s sad when we want to know sampdoria must relegated in seri B..
Sampdoria is one of the good team in italy league who had a bigger name..
you can remember, many good player had ever played for sampdoria..
from Mancini (the current coach of City), Montella...cassano too even become sampdoria player

It's just the way of football sampdoria haven't quite got the reputation of Ac and Inter Milan the fact is football is a business and at the end of the day if you were running your business and someone tells you they will give so many millions for one man would you say no? It would be very hard to resist and as an player would you want to stay at Sampdoria or would you want to move on to bigger and better things. I also like Sampdoria but there's always a time when so called smaller club needs to cash in on players and very few of the players would rather stay at a team with a lower reputation. I feel ba for Sampdoria fans but they'll get over the sales if they Sampdoria find players who are equal to the abilities of there now former players.

Personally I'd prefer to play regularly but as a footballer who believes in them self they feel the need to prove themselves he may struggle to get into the team but just maybe he thinks he can become an Inter great? Doesn't always work out like that but the best want to be at the best unless they have a love for one club or dream of playing for a certain club. It's the same in any profession again though do you want to prove yourself as the best or are you happy to settle and play a big part in a small team. Yeah loyalty is good but their are not many loyal footballers any more.

That is the approach taken by some of the clubs. They know that they cannot hold their big stars for long. So they cash in when an opportunity comes along. So I think that is what Sampdoria are doing. But it is not great thing for the fans of the club.
Cheers!

For serious errors were committed in the sale of Cassano and Pazzini, so the team has paid the price retreating to Serie B.

They're probably trying to save money to buy someone big..but it is rather bizarre that they would sell there best players
