Moving Out to Another Location

my mom bought a house 15 years ago but never lived on it because she had a business running where we're staying right now. but because of sudden changes we need to move out of my grandparent's house to the new house. to tell you honestly I'm financially drained and though i'm working right now and still doing online work, its not enough for me to build her a new business or give her money for her capital.
but i'm positive that everything will turn out great after this storm.
did anything like this ever happened to you? like moving out because of a sudden change or problems in your current location?

I've been living in the same house, same location for the past 2 decades and i'm happy with it. I have no intentions to move out at all because of the convenience i enjoyed here. Though it's an old estate with over 30 years of history, it's an ideal location for me. I'm not staying in a condo, but it does not matter. I like condos, because of the facilities, but it's not worth paying too much for it when its location is not ideal.

We've never had to suddenly move because of sudden changes in the situation at the place where we'd been living before. After my daughter was born we lived with my mother and siblings for several years until we were able to afford our own house. Three years ago we were able to make our dream of owning our own house a reality and we've been living in our own house ever since. I think that the only reason that we will move at this point will be to upgrade to a nicer house at some point in the future.

I've never stayed in any one place for more than about 2-3 years, but I'm young and moved around a lot when my parents were moving around a lot. So, no, I don't think that I've ever had to really move because of the type of situation you're describing, but I can definitely relate to the feeling of finally getting your roots in the ground in one place, then being uprooted when you have to leave everything you've built and started for a new place. It sucks, but that's life I guess.
