What's the best way of increasing your alexa ranking?

I was inactive for quite a long time so when i came back my alexa rank dropped very much and also my blog used to have a page ranking of 2 which eventually dropped to 1. Now i am trying blogclicker, traffic exchanges but still i am not able to get its alexa ranking improved. someone suggested i should try auto surf traffic exchanges. do they work? any idea what should i do?
