I am confused what is the meaning of unresolved discussions here in discussions section. All of my discussions are categorized on the unresolved section. What's that mean? Is there any resolved discussions?

As the starter of a discussion, you have the possibility of awarding the 'Best Response'. Once you have done so your dicsussion will be removed from the 'unresolved' tab. A discussion is not closed after the Best Response has been rewarded and can go on receiving responses and comments forever. To learn how to award the Best Response read here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq8.aspx#16

Ok I understand what your point. How about if certain discussion after 5 responses from other mylotters one of them given a best response, it is automatically removed from the unresolved tab. So other mylotters unable to response again or no chances to reply because of such rule. Am I right or wrong understanding... see you around

In the unresolved tab you only see your own started discussions on which youhave not yet awarded the BR. If a user awards a BR after 5 responses that discussiion will be removed from their 'unresolved' but it will still appear in their 'started' tab and anyone and everyone can still respond and comment on it. No-one else will receive the BR though (unless the response that received it is later removed by admin for some reason or other).

Hello Visavis ... you can see only your own unresolved discussions i think. Many times after i pick best response, people continue responding. From best response we don't earn, so picked best response it doesn't have to stop us to respond. We earn when we write, so every response will be appreciated and will increase our earnings more or less

No my friend I did not mean to suggest that at all I tried to write it so that you would understand, if you read it carefully. I see that you did both

Hello my dear! When you start a discussion as you can see the comments, there is a "mark as best response" beside the username of the respondent or beside his/her ranking on said category. If you denote or choose a "best response", your discussion will then considered as resolved. Hence, all your discussions which you have not marked or chosen a best response will all go to unresolved discussion.

When You create a Mylot discussion, the idea is that you look over the responses you get under that heading, talk out your discussion with all those who give interesting comments, and when you have enough responses you're satisfied with and/or get a conclusion that works for you,You award what you consider to be the top responder a "Best Response".After that,Your discussion is considered to be resolved, but there's nothing to stop others from adding to the responses at any time after this. You can only award one "BR" for each discussion you start,so some people will hold on until they get a certain number or quality of a response before giving this, maybe taking weeks, months,or even Years to decide..Others don't even wait 24 hours-it's as though it's speed of response that counts with them! Hope this helps..

It really helps my friend. I am well informed with your response as well as to other responses in my discussion. I am glad that you share your thought with me. Good day!

Hi there rage35!!! Unresolved discussions are those discussions that you have started where you have not yet chosen the best response. When we start a discussion and others reply to it we have the option to choose the best response or not to choose at all.If we haven't choose the best response yet the discussions that we have started will be placed under the unresolved discussion category. I actually don't start my own topic often but whenever I have my own topic posted here in mylot,I make it a point to wait for one to two weeks before choosing the best response. This way I can make sure that I have read and reviewed the response that my posts have received and be fair enough to choose who deserves to be given the best response.
