To resolve discussions you have to select a "best response" in your discussions.

Yes frontvisions is right, an unresolved discussion means that you havent yet got the best answer to your question that would justify or solve your query. If you think that amongst the responses you have got, you are convinced with any particular response, just mark it as the best response. MyLot gives extra credits for getting a best response, may be, i am not sure about it.

You have to select best response that's it and your discussion will be removed from unresolved tab. If you want to get more responses on your discussion someone need to post at least one response to make discussion active and might show up in recent posts. You are very much experienced at mylot and you should know that you are going to be paid for making a comment.

I also wonder how many of the discussions that I have started landed in that category "unresolved discussions".... I am so busy answering other people's discussions here that I forgot to mind my own started discussions/topics.

You can't do this, until somebody gives a response. It is a bit frustrating to don't get a response, so I try to give a response to discussions started by friends when I see that they have not been responded after a few hours, when I am able to respond.

No, you can't reply to your own discussions until somebody else responds to it. I think the best you can do is start another discussion just like it (except maybe with a 'more-attractive' title-line), and then 'report' your old discussion as a "copycat" of your new one ... maybe?

Its not a big problem.. Keep posting and start new discussions. You just mark a good response that fits your topic as best response. It will resolve your underlined issue. Discussion what you have started it will count only once and it be not be added for your forthcoming reply and posts.
