Yes, maybe it can be used to retrieve your lost numbers... It can also lessen the scammers... And maybe, it will have the same benefits as postpaid... I don't know, but it is a great idea... as long as it is not abused...

Yes my friend "MAY BE" full of may be because now we are hoping to have a result for such action. Government should be have a full control and determination once this law enacted. I think big help to lessen or abolish some criminal act related to mobiles. To those dis-agree for this registration, those having own personal interest and don't care the welfare of many.. see you around

I agree to that. This to regulate to utilization of communication devices. Many people abuse the benefit of technology. they spread terror through technology. I am not against that.

I would agree with this and it has to be a mandatory so that people who would use prepaid sims for criminal offenses could be easily detected. This can prevent people to continue their plan for scamming or those who are stalking. Registering our prepaid sim would be a great help and provides security.

Definitely! I hate receiving text messages from scammers. With the registration of sim cards, we know exactly whom to go after. This can also help the investigation of the police. I really cannot see what possible positive benefits there is for maintaining a database of numbers. There are no privacy concerns here. We have always had directories, why not for mobile phones?

I still have to weigh the advantages and disadvantages before I could say yes or no. If there will be more gains then I'll go for it. Making decision just because it involved recent happening may prejudice the real essence of this idea!

yes i am, for security purposes and to help the crime fighting in our country. My only concern is how our privacy will be protected. If they need the info like we give in our sss or other government issued ID, it's ok but not abusing about the info.

Yes I'm in favor for registering our prepaid sims, because to controlor monitoring all user for any anti-government action. Like here in Saudi Arabia a little bit hazzle but the good result will be on the end. You see how many times used mobiles with sims in a criminal action and how many you can expect in the future if not control from the government? see you around

I am in favor of the registration of SIM cards because personally I think the pros far outweighs the cons. There's really nothing wrong if telecom companies have a record of all those who are using their facilities. Actually, such policy is already in existence since postpaid plans requires a subscriber to submit some personal documentation for a line to be activated. Unlike postpaid, prepaid subscribers can easily buy a SIM card and use it for what ever reasons which is very convenient but far too convenient. I think those who are opposed are those individuals who have nothing good in mind because if you're not hiding something, why hide your identity?

I am not in favor of registering our prepaid sims. This is because one's identity will further be publicized. Moreover, people with bad intentions may be able to access it and plan something bad for you.

Registering a prepaid sims are already being done in other countries like singapore and malaysia. The purpose is who know bought it and when it was bought so that if the sim has been use for crime it can be track down. Now if ever it is implemented, the law regarding this should be transparent and should be well made to prevent misuse like all information.
