Erm....what did you do to your PCs? You can actually salvage the parts if you're not planning to use them anymore. Or sell it off or recycle it? From where we come from there's a lot of recycling going on

lol i was able to put windows 98 on it. it has an x86 hd and no ssd like the new ones, it has awesome sound. the sound is sooo good, it make a great graphical cd player. i asked my mom if she wanted it. she said yes. i bought a pcmcia card wireless to see if it would connect, lol funny it restarted when i put the pcmcia card in it.

I would be interested to learn what your plans are for your old machines. I know you can re-use parts although I would not have a clue where to begin there...It is always good to a have a spare PC as a backup. I have an old desk top which my little girl uses for games etc. It still connects to the Internet and with Intergard on it my daughter has fun on it although it is a lot slower than my beloved laptop...

i put windows 98se and it's got a great sound system would make a good cd player. My mom wanted it, so i gave it to her. She had been wanting a laptop, now she's got a stable little laptop and she can play her cds on it.
