Does anybody know a web browser that is better than chrome. Google is starting to annoy me. It starts a new process for each new tab. Mozila Firefox is really slow and irritating. And explorer just takes forever to load. Seriously what else is out there.

I have tried the three browers that you mentioned and Firefox is my favorite one. However, since you said you were even not pleased with Firefox. Then it seems there are not more left:) Perhaps you can try Opera. It is another brower which I hardly use. I use its cellphone version much more because it supports well and seldom will have a problem. I love China

Give Opera 11.01 a try. It has new features like tab stacking to make it easier to group tabs, extensions which essentially are add-ons (and WOT is one of them), and visual mouse gestures. Remember that Opera has an identify function. This means that it can be made to identify itself as say IE to certain websites which are not rendered properly. This function works most of the time, at least on the websites that I visited in the past. Opera is laden with many features, and patience may be needed to know and use them. Compared to Chrome it has a small footprint, which is also smaller than Firefox.

I'm sure there are others. But the problem is that sites are usually compatible with these popular once.

I don't understand, my husband says the same thing about Firefox, but I have the best luck with it. It is faster than any other I have used. He loves Bing, I don't, and like you, I do not like explorer at all. Hope you find one that works for you.

Give Flock a try. I use the Mac version, but it's available for Windows. It has a lot of features that other browsers don't have, and it's one of the few that works really well for the Mac. It isn't as well-known as some, but it works smoothly, has a lot of interesting options, including the ability to write blog posts and send them to your blog. They call it the social browser and it really is. Since I'm not that social, I turned off most of those features, but if you're on a lot of social networking sites, it's a good way to keep track of them.

Try Opera. It's not that fast but it's interface is smooth. If you're going for speed, just stick with chrome. Just re-install it. It may just be having some glitches or what not.

There are several internet browsers that you can select aside from those who is already known in the market. Most browsers offer similar features, but not all are created equally. The best way to find the browsers that will work for you is to first narrow down the field to include only the browsers that will work with your Operating System. Then try out a few of the top browsers to see which one has the features and extensibility that you want and need. You may wanna try alternative browsers, just for the sake of experimenting. Because there's a dozen in the market that have at least 1% of the market share. Here are the alternative browsers that I found: *Flock - a social media browser built on firefox. *Mozilla Seamonkey - a technology proving ground. *Camino - an alternative Mac-only browser. *Konqueror - an alternative Linux browser. *Maxthon - built on IE platform, with some added features. Hope it helps.

...Hi trader22, I tried Chrome for a short while and found it to take forever, slow ddown finding sites and generally freezing every no and them. I think there was some kind of implanting into my system thsat was going on tto track things. I" got rid of it. You might weant to think about clearing out some unused programs that might be slowing things down. Whenever I experiment with new programs like the Cash Gopher or whatever, the comoputer starts to lag and I have to shut the program down. So many programs put tracking systems in the computer and it is almost like a virus. My Explorer works fine, Firefox was fickle. Good luck.
