the nhl all-star game has just started it was 4-0 at one point and it ended at 4-4 after the 1st I'm not sure if I like the new format now or not the game is still good as it always has been cause its all offense. I watched all the skills stuff last night and that is always a lot of fun to watch to see them do all the different competitions. I'm not sure how much I like the draft and all that other stuff they did to create the teams I get that they are trying to make it different I guess I'm just used to the east vs west format with all these games and this is a bit different then what I am used to seeing you never had teams with players names before and that is a bit different, but I guess that is the whole idea the main thing is that the game itself is entertaining and with all the talent on the two teams I don't think that will be a problem. After this one is over is the NFL all star game and that one is so weird cause they change so many of the rules just so someone doesn't get hurt and I can understand that you don't want anyone getting hurt in an exhibition game, but it makes the game itself strange to watch cause its so much different then a normal game. I like the NHL all star game the best cause you get to see the best of all the skill players and it seems to really go back and forth a lot. do you like the all star games? which one do you like the best and why?

I never saw the Pro Bowl.It used to come After the Super Bowl and by that time I was either still celebrating or lamenting the result of the Super Bowl.I stopped watching the baseball all star game when he comish made it determine home field in the Series. To me as soon as he did that, it ceased to be an exhibition, it is a playoff game! the only all Star game I have seen Every tear since I fell for the sport is the NHL. But today I started it and when it was 3-0 , I went back to the X Games. I was planning on seeing them both but I got to see what I wanted. Ovie scored the first goal And I loved all the skills last night. The skills competition is always fun. The actual game? Not so much. I love defense. I love a damn good check, None are in the All Star game. As for this new format? I am not so sure. I love it when it was North America vs the world. If I remember correctly Malkin and Ovie played together! Game On! But the again you Still would have that if it were east vs west. so I guess my answer Should be . I only see the skills part of the NHL all star game. It is the best part.

yeah it is weird now that they have the pro bowl the week between the super bowl and the championship games and that makes it so no one from the super bowl teams can play so that in itself makes it pretty stupid to do it that way. As far as the all star game for the hockey went today before you knew it the score went from 4-0 to 4-4 at the end of the first it was a one goal game with about 90 secs left and eric staal's team pulled the goalie and gave up a empty netter so the team captained by nick lidstrom won 12-11 I seem to like that all star game the best because it is always competive the pro bowl today at the half it was 42-7 NFC come on show some pride. it is still weird to have the teams be a name of the players so that might take a while to be used to the fact that they drafted the teams was different it was kinda cool that the guy who got picked last got a car and 20,000 to put towards a charity.

My younger brother is the huge hockey fan of my family. I am sure he was more than eager to watch the NHL all star weekend. He lives for watching hockey! I am sure he did not miss a moment of it!
