I came across a site to do with cyber begging and was beginning to wonder how it works and have anyone mylotters used such a tactic to make some money? If you've tried such a thing how much luck have you had. I've been personally considering setting up a community project or at least helping a project I know of back home which helps the underprivileged society in Zambia. So I'm curious to the earning potentials of cyber begging to try ans gain some extra monies's to put toward's the running of the project. I'm also looking at other ways to make money for charities if you've got some ideas please advise me thanks.

it is commendable for you to undertake such a task but doubt if it will work. with all the scams being done in the internet, you'll likely get your share of doubters. make no mistake about it, i'm not knocking you down but i think there are more effective ways to make this undertaking more effectively. i'll chime in later with some ideas. kinda pressed for time right now.
anyway, i wish you well in this endeavor. good luck!

I'm not getting any notifications for the replies, just a bit annoying. I've been playing with two different ideas as I've heard its difficult to set up a project solely by myself. So one idea is to link up with my old school who run projects in Zambia supplying food, building houses, creating better water source's and improving education so that's my easier option at the minute. My other idea was actually an assignment project I was assigned at university but I like the early concept idea so I've been wondering if I'd be able to actually pull it off. Well it involves under-privileged schools and the basics of the project is around kids who are either falling behind or just generally struggling with reading and writing but also learning to bond with others gaining each others trust. The role basically involves encourages children to read with rewards such as cinema trips, indoor football match's. Generally trying to improve the local community surrounding the schools. My group assigned to the project also liked the idea of getting parents involved. The first option would be easier funded I believe any way because it will just be pure donations. The second will need money to be able to rent locations, insurance and hiring a few professional tutors... The second is more a community project than full scale charity work.

Yeah I don't expect to make much money through cyber begging was more of a bonus to adding to the charity pot rather than to be used as the main form of my fund raising. If you have come up with ideas please do inform me. At the minute I'm looking into various grants available in the UK to for setting up charity based projects.

I don't think its work anymore..I have had came across some site which used to ask for donation/loan for poor people to help in their business..they had profile of the people and business detail and amount of help they want..something of that sort..I had donated some fund to a school in need of fund to buy books and stuff for poor children and I was so happy to get the thank you letter from children.:)

That's nice of you yeah I think even if it did for people to find your own site would be hard enough never mind for someone to in fact donate to your cause. You got a letter that's a nice gesture.
