Hi friends, Getting tanned is one of the most prevailing problems for everyone(and not just woman). This is considered an issue in the asian countries while people in the European nations go for sun bathing just in order to get tanned. I am one of those victims of sun tan and I badly want to remove the sun tan. My skin looks darker and also, it has turned thicker. I tried the following measures, that I learned from google: 1. Used sunscreen lotions and creams, 2. Covered my skin using some stoles or clothes, preventing direct exposure of sun rays, 3. Tried applying lemon juice on my skin. However, none of the above measures actually was helpful to me.. I would like to get more suggestions from you regarding this. Please render some advice/suggestions, which has truly worked for your or your closest pals. I do not want the 'googled' results here. I can very well do that!!! I want some advise based on your trials and experience! Please help!!!

I think too much exposure to sun makes the skin damage it's natural melanin substance. This substance is responsible for our skin and hair color. If you are exposed to the sun, the tendency is for the melanin production to either increase or decrease. If your skin is darker than before, maybe your melanin production is more than before. There are some services offer in derma clinics purposely for lightening the skin. Why not visit one and ask what services are good for you. Home made remedy like cucumber scrub or avocado facial mask may offer help. You can try them if you wish!

Avoid getting into the sun without applying a sunscreen lotion with high SPF. Even when you are inside the house and only the lights on, you still have to protect your skin with a suncreen. Use umbrella if you are going outside. And avoid going out when the sun is out.
