Sarah Palin pretended not to be encouraging violence when she told her supporters "Don't Retreat, Reload". Well, maybe she was just using colorful speech to get a point across, just maybe. But, I would like to see her get out of this one.
Speaking to the Safari Club, Palin told her audience "Don't Retreat, Stand Tall". Obviously, she has now come out and publicly stated her bias against short people. Finally, we see the true Palin.
If there is an increase in crimes committed against short people, do you think the media will do their duty and hold Palin acountable? Since she was speaking to the Safari Club, a group dedicated to hunting, can she reasonably claim she was not encouraging violence against short people?

Maybe they're just a bit vertically challenged in the humor department?

Usually I agree pretty much with what you say but this time I do not. I do not care very much for Palin but this time you are being really ridiculous saying that "Stand Tall" is inciting bias and violence against short people. I really hope you were joking otherwise I would very disappointed.
I think everyone knows that:
stand/walk tall means
to be proud of yourself and confident of your abilities

You are right, I am being somewhat tongue-in-cheek, whiteheather. I figured I would start the thread before someone who hates Palin discovers the quote and writes a discussion taking the comment seriously or to this level.
Also, since February is supposed to be a month of boycotting discussion of Palin in the media, I figured I had better start all my Palin threads before it's too late. I've done three today, I think that's a record!
