My bf recently visited his doctor for back problems. Well the doctor saw his tattoo that says 'F&^% OFF!!!' she found it very offending and started asking him all kinds of personal questions. Well of course he lied to her just to see what she would say. She asked him "if he was in a committed relationship" and if "he was gay" and just stuff like that. Well anyway she told him that he has anger problems among other things. SHE IS NOT A physiatrist!!!!! Well anyway he recieved the medication that she prescibed for his back pains in the mail yesterday. He was reading the directions that came with the medication(Nortriptyline) and it says it's an antidepressant used to treat a variety of conditions including depression and other mental/mood disorders...it doesn't mention anything about the medication being used for pain..... First of all she isn't a physician that specialized in physical medicine. Second why didn't they just give him vicodine? What do you think about this? I told him to make a complaint but he says he will never see that doctor ever again!
