The rioters in Egypt amount to about 0.3% of the population of that country. This would be about the equivalent of every Amish man, woman and child rioting on Washington, demanding a change of government, with no input from the rest of us.
Before we go taking sides here, I think it would be cool to find out what the other 99.997% of Egyptians have to say.

Some counts are around 250,000, others are around 1,000,000.. either way, it would be nice to know what the other 99.997-99.987% think about the situation.

It is "up to" 1 Million in a country of over 80 million. Again, all I'm wondering is what the other 99+% have to say about it ;~D

You have made a good point Para Ted...Some of the news coming out of surrounding countries is not near as bad as the stuff we are hearing on our news...I would tend to believe what the other arab states are saying before what our news agencies are saying...
I mean we have Obama telling THEIR Rich People and THEIR Influencial People to Flee Egypt RIGHT NOW! Whats up with that. They are the ones who should stay and try to help their government straighten things out. Not run in terror. Not every city has joined in the fray. The major reason they shut down the internet was to stop the US from adding to the mess thru twitter and facebook. Just like they did to Iran. There is still on Internet service still running and dial up can still work if you go thru 800 numbers. Landlines still work. The country is not totally shut off. They just shut down our Governments chances of further influence. I don't blame them at all.

. All we can say, is that it is many people in a country which is not a democracy.
