Do ants eat dandruff flakes? / myLot

I visited a friend and he told me a very odd story. He said he saw an ant carrying a dandruff flake. Now how weird is that? This is the very first time I've heard of that. Can it really be true that ants eat dandruff?

I am not surprised at this.Feeding habits of ants are complex.they eat a variety of human food,insects and their larvae,eggs and so forth.The dandruff contains fat, protein and what not,the ant naturally likes it.

Yeah, why not? I think they eat almost anything? Haha!~
