Are You A Superman ?

Well... Being a superman from my point of view is to do what ever you have planned to do at this stage of your life and give some thing to society from your work. Many times I have thought of persons whom we consider as God like Jesus, Lord Krishna, Ram etc. Why we started considered them as God? Because they produced many things which we thought us to be incapable of doing and they were leading us because of their hard work. They worked in the way from which existing society got benefited and people started believing that they don't belong from their community but has come from God. So working hard what ever you can like starting your day with meditation, then working in agriculture field, going to office, teaching some children in evening and doing what ever you like in evening(playing music or listening, watching movie or working in some NGO). But all these are not necessary to do to establish yourself as superman but to make yourself happy from yourself which will give you feelings of being superman ... What do you think ?

be a super human is a pride, but sometimes a lot of people misinterpret the meaning of the word "superhuman. " Many people interpret, super human is a great man, put the interests of others more than self-interest. This is wrong. For me this is very misleading. Superhuman figure who is willing to share, love to please help and most importantly, ordinary superhuman human remains are not immune from the shortage and excess

Don't you think that - If you will work so hard to become something in your life and got the result, other will also share the part of your success. They can be your family, friends or team member of your company. So who are they - others only. If everybody is doing their duty by giving his best and achieving something then he is achieving for others also and it will help society in so many manner ... Thanks...

I will never be a superman cause I know my works are not that good to be shared with the rest of the world. I'm working hard and yet I can't produce work that can be considered best for global standard. Iam trying...trying....trying but I can't so I am not superhuman!

No body has fixed any global standard to consider any body work..ok. You should always think your work as noble and anyhow that has some meaning and that's why you are doing that. And if you are not happy with your level then you should work hard in many direction to produce more and more result. Body is just elastic and you can extend it as much as you want .... Thanks...

I don’t know if I want to aspire to be a super being of some kind. I just want to do the best I can in my life, work hard in with my passions, be the best I can be at parenting all while enjoying myself! If was to think about a superman or superwoman I ‘d consider soldiers, fire fighters, police officers, nurses, doctors , single parents and many more who devote their lives to others.

In terms of the actual fact of being a superman (or superhuman as the case might be). I really don't feel like I am. I am an ordinary person and though there are some people that think that I really am something special (my children to be precise). I understand that to the broader society, I really am nothing special but to my children I am the world. I haven't accomplished great things, but without me my children wouldn't be who they are.

hello sincere4frdship! You are right of course with your view of what and who is a superman. I just would like to add however that being a superman really does not mean that you're doing something great for the benefit of the world or society. You could still be a superman, when you do something that is beyond what a mere ordinary human can do, given a particular circumstance which would have impede any other ordinary beings. Just like someone i know who had been born without his left arm. His physical deformity did not hinder him in anyway and he became one of the great pillars of our society. He graduated at the top of his class, went on to become a successful businessman and a very endearing and well-loved accomplished town leader. Being able to do something beyond you're capable of ordinarily, would mean that you have superhuman strength to go beyond your existing means. Thus you are a superman, in your own right.

Yeah ... In this discussion only some one has been written that if we are working for other without considering our self then he can't be a superman. But I am asking if some busy will work hard for himself without considering others then what is meaning for all the result which he will get, who will be there to share his success. When ever we work hard to get anything we keep others also in mind to share that achievement, otherwise we just loose the interest to get that ...

Yes you are right sincere4frdship. In addition to that, everyone who performs their duties assigned to them is a superman. You know like when i was a kid i thought my dad is the best dad in the world and he was my hero. Later when i grew up, i realized that indeed he is a superman, a hero for me. He is a guy who has been performing his duties as a father, as a husband, as a son with so much sincerity. I do not believe in supernatural powers. For me my mom dad are my god :)

hi sincere4frdship I think only to myself I have been superwoman in that I worked for years as a nurse's aide because I was fulfilling a need in myself to help others, not to amass money as the helping jobs are never paid like they should be.we are not entertainers or sports figures, we just help sick people in the hospital get well.no big deal ,I worked hard and loved it. then the last 23 years I worked shelving media in the library again helping people again not well paid but again I loved it.I am satisfied that I did what God wants us to do, help each other.I think we do the best we can all of us, and who is to measure eacg of us by their standards? come off, we all are super men in our own ways. All success need not be measured by wealth or fancy cars or expensive homes.
