Ruby Klokow, 74, of Sheboygan, was arrested for the death of (then) 6 month old Jeaneen Klokow. The story she stuck to for 53 years was that the baby fell off the couch. The real story was, she threw the child onto the couch because she was angry at another child, and the infant then bounced onto the floor.
The full investigation revealed a history of "abuse and torture".
53 years later, justice finally gets done!

"Justice delayed is justice denied" at least like the other post " better late than never ", at least that's one case down in the Cold case files .

Wow, this seems more like an episode of "Cold Case" than a true story but I'm glad justice will finally be done for that innocent little girl. How in the world could someone, no less a mother, throw a six month old baby onto a couch because she was "angry" at another child? There are some people who should never have children and fortunately this woman can't have anymore, whether she'd have been caught or not, but look at all the years she's lived her life in freedom after having committed cold-blooded murder!

It's kinda of difficult to believe that this woman held on to her story for so long. I don't understand how she could have simply kept quiet for so long, especially when she knew she was guilty. At least, all of this is coming out. So that there might be some kind of justice.

Sometimes people repress things like this and dont remember for years later, or think that they have imagined it or its some sort of bad dream. The truth always comes out in the end.

Her lawyer will probably protest because the witness at the time was only two, but it sounds like they can make it stick considering her own comments and the history of abuse now told by her other kids. That's incredible that she finally gets arrested and charged. People think they can get away with it, and then when they aren't expecting it...

Well, I'm glad the btch is finally paying for what she did to her daughter. Better late than never but you have to wonder how much the other children suffered at her hands over the years and that poor 2 yr old that witnessed it all. To remember it at that age tells me that it had to have been very very traumatic to him. chilling story.

What a horrible thing for everyone. I don't know whether to have some compassion for the woman or to be glad justice is finally done. It says she abused her other children, too. That must be one very sick woman.

Some people can be so cruel, they don't have a heart. I don't like the judgement because it has taken so many years to get the verdict and now the woman is so old to get the punishment. She is on the verge of her last days of her life. I must say the judicial systems are not so good now a days. But I am glad that the woman got her punishment. God bless the child and I hope children never get any such parents.

Well I suppose that it is better late then never. I think that there are a lot of times where things like this are going to go unpunished for too long. Still for fifty three years, with some of this going unpunished, that's just staggering. Really a long time to get away with doing such a heinous crime and something like that. Really does turn your stomach around.
Justice is finally done. Too bad it is too late for it to do much good. Still really the fact that someone lived with themselves for fifty three years really does show what kind of a person this woman is. Really, there is nothing that is going to surprise me but the fact that something went along with this for so wrong...wow, what a twisted and disturbed world we live in.

I conclude that the old lady's conscience is visiting her day and night, and she can see her baby's ghost in her dream. After being succumb into despair for so many years but afraid to go to jail, she finally realize that her time is near and come to pass, and decided to convict herself(according to police report; she admitted the crime).
I feel kinda pity for what happen to them, for the innocent baby and the psychologically disturbed mother. Anger is indeed a strong emotion that when not properly restrain... the result is like this... thanks for the post, i have learn something about it... i would improve my self discipline so that i can control my emotion... please free to add me up
