It turns out, public schools have done me wrong. I think it was around 5th or 6th grade that I was taught that the three branches of Government were, Executive, Legislative and Judicial.
According to Senator Chuck Schumer (New York), the three branches of government are President, house and senate.
LMAO
Is it time to require a Civics class to anybody seeking office?

I actually have been telling people that they should be required to read and be quizzed on it after being elected to office. Seriously, I'm not kidding. It's a short document and one that 8 graders have been quizzed on. I could name the 3 branches of government when I was 12.

He most of misspoke right.... I mean really they read the Constitution didn't they the entire thing right? It goes in order Congress (Legislative (Lawmakers), Executive (Law executors), Judicial (Makes sure the laws are executed correctly and that laws are in line with the Constitution as currently amended.) I mean really this guy has little excuse to mess up this one.
Obama has one we are in both countries right now. So he is reading reports on both countries and what is going on.
So I wonder in his version where is the U.S Supreme Court placed?

Unlike I gave President Obama a break yesterday for a misstatement about Iraq/Afghanistan, I'm not giving this "idiot" a break. I don't think Schumer misspoke, I think he really would have to think before he might remember the three branches of government. Not only should we demand our legislators take a civics class, I think they ought to be tested. And if you can't pass after the second time, you're thrown out of Congress. I also think annual refresher courses/testing ought to be mandatory...
