Finally, the England team notch up 333 against the Aussies, which by chance is also their highest score against the Aussies. Now it is all a matter of pride for the Englishmen, who surprisingly suffered a series loss against the Aussie team, after a convincing Ashes win. A brilliant 137 from Jonathan Trott helped propel the England team to 333. Well done Jonathan Trott....!! I wonder why he is still considered as an underrated batsmen even after such performances. I sincerely hope that, people's perception of him changes. The last time England put up a score in the 290s, Shane Watson helped attain it with a brilliant 160. Will we see anything of the same magnitude from the Australian batsmen?? On a personal note, I do believe that it was the English players playing rash strokes that led them to their down fall in this one day series. I hope that they play sensibly. I hope that the England team can win the remaining two matches to end the series on a high. It will help them in their confidence, as the world cup is nearing. Share your views.... Balu.
