Two of my last year planted Persimmons have germs

I am happy and proud to announce that 2 of 3 of my persimmons have germs already. OK, one of three seeds i planted didn't make it - it started to grow, showed 1 cm long sprout and then suddenly started to rot, so i was forced to remove it from pot and put into trash bag. BUT the rest two persimmons which i planted as seeds now started to grow faster - the bigger one have two green leafs while second one still is in sprout/germ stage. We have winter here outside and it is dark around, so to give more light and heat to my persimmon plants i putting them under a lamp for a few hours every day after i arrive at home from work. Isn't this great?
