All kittens and puppies should be dewormed as soon as possible. The worms can live inside the mother's muscle tissue and then are passed on to their offspring during birth. Get a proper deworming medicine and feed all of the cats once or twice. This should solve the worming problem. If they still have the belly bloat you need to take them to a vet to find out what the problem really is.

Any good pet store can give you the name of a deworming product. I am not sure what brands are available in your country. They are sold over the counter so any risk to the cats is very minimal and there are dosage instructions on the bottle. Taking them to a vet is the best option,of course, but that can sometimes be expensive. Especially if you have multiple cats. My cats did not have worms, but were treated anyway because even indoor mothers who have been dewormed can carry the eggs and pass them on. Better safe than sorry.

If you can, take them to the vet for a checkup. Not all animals get worms; mine did not. If the mother was an outdoor cat they do need a good checkup because outdoor cats can get diseased and pass it on to the baby. A vet can tell you if it has worms or not. You do not want to try to treat it if you do not know for certain, because if that is not the problem the health of the cat is put in further jeopardy. It probably is worms, but be on the safe side and let the vet check out the cat. Kittens should have food out for them all the time. Babies need to eat constantly. When they are about a year, then divide their food. Until then, let the bowl be down and filled for the kitten. Another note--do not feed cheap food to the cat. Cheap food is not good and can cause the cat to get sick. Here in the USA we have a product called Purina kitten chow, I do not know if that is available where you are. Call some vets and ask them what is a good kitten food to give. You can also ask them what may be wrong with your kitten, but they may want to see it so as not to misdiagnose it. Good luck with your new friend. I hope he/she feels better soon!
