from among your siblings who are you closest to?

I am the eldest in 5 all female siblings. Of course, there would always be someone from amongst them that I am closest with.
Even if I am close to all my siblings, I can say that I am closest to our youngest . She shares some same views as mine , in clothes , in opinions among others but we get to disagree too, sometimes. When we were younger, we would always quarrel and sometimes it would get violent because she answers me back, and I would get angry when she do that, because I was the eldest! Then we would be good with each other again after sometime. 
As we get older, we sometimes disagree too, but they became frequent and we would always come to terms again. Yet, she’s the closest to me.

hi! i'm the 7th of 8 siblings. i have 4 sisters and 3 brothers. although we're a closely knit family... growing up, i'd say i'm closest to my youngest brother who's also our youngest sibling, because the 2 of us were the ones left at home when the other 6 went to the university and worked in the metro city.
but when i became older, i became closer to 2 of my sisters (sibling no.4 and 5) because we share a lot of common likes and dislikes and professionally speaking, we're in the same wavelength even if they are 6 and 8 years older than i am. we have never fought... ever. not even a disagreement.

Usually we are closest to the one who is always with us.
But as one grows really, sharing the same likes and dislikes makes the siblings closest to each other.

quite true. we get closer to those we spend more time with and bonded with. but as we develop our own personalities, shared interests are what make people jive regardless of age difference amongst siblings.

I'm second to the eldest and I can say that the one I'm closest with is my third sibling. I share most of my secrets to her. She's my confidant as well. I'm just very comfortable speaking with her and confiding things to her. I love all my siblings and I'm also close to them and my treatment to them were all equal but I guess it's really normal to have one sibling that is going to be so much close to you.

Of course it's normal to have a closest one among your siblings. Though you love them all, there will always be one who will stand out amongst them.

I'm a middle child, and I seem to be the odd man out. Don't get me wrong. We're a tightly-knit family. But for some reason, I haven't noticed any partiality on my part. I'm close to both of my siblings. But when I have problems or just need advice, I confide to my mom. That was when we were kids. We are all married now and our closeness hasn't waned a bit. But I still can't say if I'm closer to one of my siblings.

That's odd, because more or less you are of same age bracket with your siblings so it is understandable that you could be closer to both or one of them.
I am close to my mother too, but i don't usually confide to her, those crushes, likes and dislikes, relationships when i was younger though. Lucky you, that you are closer to your mother.

I am the eldest sibling. I feel close to all of my siblings. This was not so true growing up. My two brothers and I were always at odds. now we are the best of friends. I always felt closest to my younger sister. We have always been there for each other.

I guess, it's because we tend to be sometimes protective to our youngest, making us close to her. Don't you think so?
