New York City has banned smoking OUTSIDE. That's right, if your outside in the open air don't light up that butt. If your inside, fine, but if your outside, it's butt banned. ~ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1353091/Now-New-York-bans-smoking-outside-Bloomberg-cracks-down.html ~ First it was soda pop, then salt shakers, now butts. ~ NYC's mayor Michael Bloomberg is going after anything HE considers a bad habit thus a good scapegoat from NYC's very real financial problems by drumming up witch hunts of people who's personal habits he does not particularly care for. Or perhaps these habits simply make good copy. ~ OK, most of these habits don't do much for your health, then again, neither does crime, pollution, or stress. NYC have the latter three in abundance. The distraction factor if one can use it is highly valuable if it can be used effectively. The 'preachers' can be persuaded to preach at the 'sinners' rather than the government. ~
