Why do we seek God? why we are religious and believe in god? especially if we are religious because religion was adopted by our parents when we were born.

humans need god as a form of safety needs. need to feel safe. need to feel / acknowledge the existence of "something" which is more than we do. the existence of "something" that more was seen as a form of settlement of matters or issues that are not able to be completed human

Every religion teaches the rules different from one another. all religions teach the ways of life is good. we only choose the best offer. if without religion, humans will live without the rules arbitrarily. not possible law-made man himself could manage it all!

We definitely need God but we do not need religion. Religion was created by man. It is made up of man-made rules and traditions which only interfere with our relationship with God. Instead of religion, we should all seek to have a relationship with God, through His son Jesus Christ. That was why He sent Jesus to die for us. So that we can no longer be separated from Him, thinking that we have to join this religion or that religion so that we can be with Him. All we have to do is accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and voila! No more religion, only relationship with God, the creator of the universe and the One who loves us sooooooo much that He gave His only Son to die so that we can be re-united with Him :-)

Everyone need religion, people need something to believe in... I don't really seek God all the time, but when i d, it's because I need comfort and answer to my problems. Although I can't really see Gd, I know that he's always there beside me, watching me and listening to all my problems. God is my comfort when I am sad.

Weird is not it? When the self is grounded in the earth, the master himself is "God", through religion, Religion is universal. Religion teaches us to "guard" themselves and the world. What is important is the "God" .. when religion is the "rule" to face God.

God requires proof. No mere words, but also must be accompanied by action of the heart and real. That is Faith. Not only God who can not see today, but so many things that our senses can not visualize it. However, we are able to feel its presence. Similarly, the visualization of God. God does want good things from his creation, but that does not mean God does not want any ugliness. Ugliness, Allah let happen to be a lesson for His servants. In order for a balanced life, the best thing is to follow the rules of the game that created it. One that is given is by religion of Islam. Religion is the way to go for humans to achieve the desired goals as him. The dispute occurred because the feel, the way they themselves the most correct. Without going to understand that there are other roads also are regarded as the true path. Sometimes we can feel close to and communicate with God, even one with us. But is it true that God, too. Some violations are human beings do, even to say that God would not want to see the servants tomorrow on the Day of Resurrection. So that could have been without religion people can feel calm and peaceful, but in fact what happens is a mere artificiality. Still there is an empty niche to be filled by the religious right.

Well, we think we are seeking after God, but we don't. No one is good or righteous, so in ourselves, we don't actually seek. We only have the ability to seek if we are given that ability. God gives the ability and he says that he approached us first. Any seeking we do is a response to him being proactive in our lives.
