I understand what your saying, but I get so invoved with watching sport it's unreal. If my loses team loses I'll sulk for an hour or so, I have to be left alone. I know it's unhealthy and an groen man shouldn't get like this but I do and I don't know I why. One thing I do know is that I love it, I love the excitement, the anticaption, the hopes the dreams, the bragging rights down the pub with your mates if you win. The hammer you take if your team loses, it's great. If you don't understand it you never will, but if you understand it then it's great. It's more than just a game.

I want to say "you've got to be kidding?" but I know that you aren't! I swear..like you said..it is just a football game!! I think people get so wound up in that stupid game and other sports, it is pathetic. They don't put near that much entheusism into making their lives good! I have never been able to see why people get so involved in games like this. BUT....... It gets worse..... How much money was spent to "determine" this wondrous, illuminating, important resolution!?!?? It's like doing a study on what makes babies cry...get the government to foot the bill and spend a year and tons of times "figuring" it out...great balls of fire...just go to the nearest park, day care center, church nursery or just moms you see on the street and ask them! YOu could have the answer in hours, no money required!!!!! Just go ask the experts!!!

I enjoy the superbowl and the season, but it's entertainment to me, and fun, but not a part of my life.. Even if we watch the superbowl with friends, it's still, to me, just entertainment. It's fun if my team wins, but I certainly don't get upset in any way if they lose! My team is in the superbowl this year! Can ya say Go Packers!? The big rivalry around here is between the Packers and the Chicago Bears. Don't tell anyone, but my second favorite team is the Bears! I decided this after watching them play the Packers this last time, which was the last one for the Packers before the superbowl.. Don't know if you watched it, but the Bear's quarterback got hurt and ended up sitting out the game, they put in another one, who, to me, seemed nervous and wasn't able to do very much. They put in a third quarterback and he did really well! No I haven't fessed up to hubby or son, or anybody else that the Bears are my second favorite. Most folks I know if the Packers lose, they'll be a little bummed even cuss a little, but once the game's over that's over too.. Far as I've ever known anyway.. Personally, I'm not much for any kind of hoopla! I don't know what any of the different carryings on are, but I do know I'd never spend the money it costs to go to a game live, and certainly not to the expensive superbopwl! Wouldn't like such a big crowd anyway! And who could see the field from so far away!? So any craziness about getting to the superbowl is way out of my league. No, I don't even have one of those foam cheesehead hats! But I wouldn't mind getting a Packers t-shirt or jersey for Christmas one of these years!

Aaaah. Statistics - how I love them. Give me enough data and I will prove that most women love shoes or that a car uses more fuel going uphill than down. All I have to do is put on a white lab coat and a serious expression and the world will believe all I say. What's the next thing you want to prove? Walk this way...

NOPE. :P It's just a bloody game. You wanna be happy about them winning, fine. Get all exited for a few minutes, jump up and down, show exhuberation. But if they lose, no need to break anything or *blinks* have heart attack?????
