I just got home after meeting up with old friends. We decided to catch up after a long time of not seeing each other. Friends give in so much pressure to you at times. I never was a fan of carnival rides. The thrill of the rides do not scare me but the thought of something bad happening while suspended a couple of feet away from the ground gives me goosebumps. Even of the sound of the metal framework as it keeps on moving makes me uncomfortable. But to please my friends, I gave in to their request of having me enjoying the ride with them. Enjoying was what I wanted to do but it did not came out that way. I was a big guy and as we strap ourselves for safety, I felt like it was just too tight but the people in charge never said anything. I was so freaked out the entire time as we go up and down. I kept thinking that it was going to be my last night alive. After a few seconds, finally it was over. It made me sick in every way. I was happy to still be breathing. It was a thrill. But was it fun? I am not sure.

Good Day Dro! I am absolutely agree with what you have said in your post my friend. I don't like also riding on any kind of rides in a carnival because I have doubts of how the safety measures have been implemented when I start observing some other rides. I was also scared when we are already on top and I thought that the bars might loosen; thus, accidents might happened to all the people who are riding on the said ride.

It is in fact a beautiful day my friend. I never thought that I would still live to experience this wonderful and safe day. After all that we did yesterday night, I now have different thoughts on how to live my life. Maybe it would be better to stay on the safety zone and not risk anything until really necessary. And about the ride you had with me on my bike, well I guess that I will not be that daring anymore. Living is good. This will now be the rule that I will live by. I guess it is true that it is better to be safe than sorry.

Yes dro. Now that you realized the fact that putting yourself into safety is much more better than risking yourself on a joy ride. It's fine to ride as long as you are driving safely.

Maybe we should just focus our attention to another kind of ride. The ride that would lead us to succeed. It maybe like the ride on a bike. We may be faced with bumps here and there but surely it will be something. Things may get tough but for sure it will be fun.
