I have 19 month old twins. If I went back to work it would cost us more in daycare than I would make. I'd be making things more difficult, financially, if I went back to work. I think that if the family can afford it, it's better for the kids to have a parent at home with them. The child/children will get more individual attention than they would in day care. If I had to go to work and leave my children with a sitter I have no doubt there'd be nanny cams in every room of our house. We don't spank or hit our children and I'd be so paranoid that someone else would. I don't sit my kids in front of the TV (they're almost 2 and have no idea who Elmo or Dora is). I would just be so worried about how they were being taken care of if I wasn't there.

i love staying home with my 3kids- i couldnt imagine it any other way- i would like a part time job though to help out financially but i love my kids too much to let them fend for themselves for the majority of the time lol
