Now that I have a part-time job I can save up for anything so I am thinking of getting something for my video editing hobby. HD videos are what I edit, I don't steal videos, I shoot my own. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6326393&Sku=M975-10261 Or is it cheaper or better to build one myself? I don't even know what specs of a PC I should get.

I think that pc would do the job pretty well, for editing video's the most important thing is your RAM, 4 to 6gb woult be enough for video editing. A must when you do video editing is a 64 bit operating system becouse otherwise you only can use 3gb of your RAM. In order to use all of your RAM the video editing program you are using has to be a 64 bit program otherwise it still won't use all of your RAM. Good luck with buying yourself a new pc.

Thanks, I'll look into that.
