Find others like minded and start a grass roots movement. Get out and vote on everything whether you are interested in it or not. In other words get involved. The key word in your post is elected. Someone voted for this man, many someones. So it seems that working toward electing someone else is part of the solution, along with making sure your voice is heard by contacting your representatives and expressing your concern over issues that affect your country. Joining groups which express the same concerns you have, you can expand your contacts and make your voice louder and give you a larger venue from which to speak. Being involved is a time consuming process but it could be worth it all.
