Reciprocity is a value that is experienced by everyone in this world. Each country has its own concept of reciprocity. they may have a translation on this concept but the core still remains. here in the philippines, it is called "utang na loob"
However, as time pass, the concept becomes deeper and deeper and it also been used differently. Some people take advantage of reciprocity for their selfish interest and some just reciprocate because of gratitude..
As it goes along, i became confused if reciprocity is really a good value.
in your opinion, how is reciprocity? is it good? or is it bad? What do you think?

Reciprocity is essentially good. The problem around it is people expect something in return in exchange of a good deed done. I find this absurd. We must be giving unconditionally in a manner where we don't expect anything in return. If something is given in return then that's good, if otherwise then its alright. Biblically, we must be sacrificial to others. If someone requests for a piece of bread give him another more. If someone slaps you on the right cheek offer your left. It is not a matter of stupidity rather a matter of exemplifying the actions of God to us. We might not be rewarded physically or materially but what is most precious is the heavenly reward which our Father in heaven is preparing for each of us based on the deeds we've displayed, words uttered, thoughts in mind which were observed among men.
