I think we need to take our hats off to Dalglish. When he took over Liverpool they were struggling to win against the mid table teams. Now he has got them rejuvenated and they started the match today with the confidence that they can go to Chelsea and win the match. I think that is the thing which was missing in Rafa's last season and Roy's reign at Liverpool. As far as the match today is concerned, it was very apparent that Torres inclusion has created more problems rather than answers for Chelsea as now they would need to figure out how to fit him into the team. Cheers! Ram

The problem caused by Torres is more in terms of formation and where to play him. Today they tried a three up front option and that definitely did not work out. Cheers! Ram

i had predicted your answer.. off course it is not easy change formation 2 forwards become 3 forwards.. it`s too risk change immediately.. but maybe ancelloti had no choice for it...

Hi, dhyz, Yesterday result was a great result not only in term of standing position of Liverpool but also to the player mentality. This win give them a boost that they can face anyone and can got all the result they needed. This is prove that no one is greater then the club and its supporter itself. Lucky for Liverpool that the can get ride one of their over paid player and get two other players with more or less similar capability with less payment on their salary. I do hope that Liverpool can keep their momentum and qualify for the Champion League next season and Chelsea does not qualify fr it. Love to listen what Torres would say at that time. Maybe he would make another transfer request I think. Good luck Liverpool and you'll never walk alone.

I think Liverpool are a much better team than Chelsea as they work as a team and work together but Chelsea work as individuals and some of them have no respect for their manager. I think this is why they lost as they do not play together if they did they could have won.

The new owner and with Daglish back to helm the team, the previous demoralised and disinterested club found the hunger and desire back. That has bring the form back and with it, the results. The title is beyond their grasp this season but they should look good for the next.

It seems that Liverpool is doing the right things. I was surprised to see Torres sign for Chelsea, but I was sure that he will not score against his former team. As for Liverpool can live without Torres, of course it can, there is no such player in the world who cannot be replaced.

Liverpool did very well today even with Torres on the other team, and even without Carroll or Suarez. They don't need Torres. And what can we say about Raul Meireless. He is just amazing at the moment.
