Why does Men of Miracles(Godmen) never show up during nature calamities?

There are many Godmen/women in the World who display miracles in front of their followers and Crowd. But these people if they are extra-ordinary then show their miracles in saving people when theere is a major tragedy or calmity, like the Tsunami, Earthquake etc.

in my opinion, these self-proclaimed godmen are either cheats or madcaps. i have by chance come across some true godmen, and these true ones never claim or boast of their divine powers. they lead a seemingly very ordinary life.
