haste make waste

I just had the experience of Haste Make Waste , just this morning .
I was in a hurry already, as i was fixing my packed lunch, when out of my haste instead of lifting the mug of my husband with Oatmeal on it, prepared for him, i just shoved it. Lo, it toppled and all the oatmeal spilled out, so i have to make another one for my husband who was still asleep in the bedroom.
There. . .i was late to the office.

I am always late to work and always goof up when it comes to getting ready while going to work.. There was an instance where i forgot my wallet only because i was in a hurry to get to work, i got a cab to the office and on reaching the office 5 mins early i realised that i dont have my wallet and dont have any money on me, i take a u-turn get back home grab my wallet and reach work 45 minutes late plus the fact that i had to pay the cabbie 3 times of what i normally pay..
Now thats what u call HASTE MAKES WASTE...

Mornings always makes us hurry so we will not be late to work or to school. So now, i make it a point that at night all my things are ready , my shoes, bag and clothes. Also, i now allot a time such as 10 minutes in the morning for any eventuality that could crop up.
So now you know better not to hurry...
