Hi guys, I recently started with affiliate marketing, I have been working on my site for 2 weeks now and so far, many of my targeted keywords are already ranking on Google. However, I still have not made a single sale. Any suggestions on what I can do to boost my sale or even just to make my first sale? I know it is too early to be alarmed but I really want to make this work. I know that there are many experts here and I really need a sound advice. Thanks

Hi, A lot is probably going to depend on your product and how and where you're marketing it etc. You can rank number one for your chosen keywords - but if no one is actually searching for that phrase or product then it's not going to do you a whole lot of good. Take the time to find out exactly what people are searching for in regards to your product. Try promoting in related forums etc. In some instances - specially when you're first starting out - you may need several hundred visitors before you get a sale. As your site grows that amount might come down as it gets more targeted etc. And lastly and probably most importantly have some patience :-) it can take time before it really starts to take off

Oh, ok thanks. I was actually thinking about that, I was wondering as to whether to put the main web site or the blog site. Will change the link in a while. The keywords are those with exact matches. I have been working with different internet marketers for almost two years now and I think this is high time that I do what they do. I really need a lot of help on this. Thanks, I will be changing the URL on my page now.

Yep that's the thing, you can do all the learning you want but eventually you need to put it into practice. Some people are lucky and they hit the magic formula right away (right product/right need etc) for others it can take time to happen. The key is to have some patience, but also to be prepared to move on to another product etc if need be - sometimes things take a little tweaking or after all your research the product/service that you think is wonderful - just isn't :-)
