The word calls sinners to those who are bound to destructive practices and calls them to purify their hands and hearts. God wants to work in our hearts when we approach Him. Once we are in his presence we will never be the same. Why is it necessary to purify our hearts? Matthew 15:11-18 It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders. If we want to live free and prosper and flourish, we need clean hearts.
