Do you print out coupons you find on the internet? I use mypoints and use there coupons there to get points on using the coupons. I like to save money but am i saving money when im using paper and ink to print out coupons? Well if i use my Mypoints account and they give me points for pinting out coupons and using them maybe i am saving because the points are used to get gift cards when i have enough points to get one. Well i search on the internet daily for printable coupons and am part of alot of different sites and they send me frequent emails to print out coupons.

I see the internet printable coupons are around but it requires me to download the toolbar first before I can download any, my husband says there is lots of spyware on those, told me not to do it. Can you recommend some sites that is okay? Thank you very much.

All the sites are going to tell you to download the coupon printer. Once you have that you can print coupons form any site. I have had the coupon printer for along time and i have not heard of any spyware on them at all or viruses. Well goodluck.

I print out coupons to use at my grocery store. Usually they say do not double so I try to only use them if I do not have one that I can get doubled. I shop at Harris Teeter and they double up to 92 cents. Sometimes they offer triple coupons and sometimes they have super double where they double up to 1.98 They will only honor up to 20 coupons per person per account per day. Sometimes I have to go several times when they have triple or super double to get all my savings, but it is worth it.

I also use MyPoints when I want to print out coupons, that way I can earn points when I redeem them. If you are using a color printer you want to switch it to gray-scale so you don't use all your color ink. I have a laser jet so it only prints out with black ink, they also aren't to hard to refill manually. Paper can get costly, but honestly I use the back side of papers I no longer need, my sons school newsletters, flyers in the mail, etc. As long as one of the sides is blank I use it, I figure I'm saving money that way and recycling . If I can only print one coupon per paper, I just flip the paper over after printing the first coupon, making sure the next coupon will print on the opposite end as well as on the other side, it can be tricky if you haven't done it before, but it saves paper. The best thing to do is match deals with coupons, that way you know you are saving the most you can with that coupon. For example, SmartSource has a K-Y coupon that is for $3 off any one K-Y product, making them free at Walmart (they have the 4oz tubes for under $3). I have created a stockpile using coupons so the only time I buy something is if I need it and if its a good price after sale and coupon. I recently started my own savings blog, it has a pretty catchy name too ... Deal Diggin' Mom, at least I think so. I was surprised on how much I could save by using coupons that I decided to start a blog to help others. Good Luck!

Ink is very expensive, I think printing coupons costs more in the long run even after your grocery savings and points.

I'm not sure if we really save money if we printed out coupons. Printer companies today sell cheap printers in the thought of earning it all back through the expensive ink that they sell. So, I'm not really sure if the ink cost balances out the coupon saving. The one that I thought was worthwhile printing was the coupon to Disneyland.

We all do little things to save money. But in the long run you might not be saving that much when you add in the cost of paper and ink. But I guess it depends on how much the gift cards are worth and where you can use them. Me I use Upromise. I log all my cards (store cards too) into the site and can use the coupons there. I just check the ones I want and when I go to the store and purhase the items the savings go into my Upromise account. No printing or forgetting my coupons at home. Happy Mylotting
