I have a few scars on my legs and they're quite pink still-which shows out a lot on my pale skin. Is there anyway to fade these quicker? They're not the raised scars.

In the UK the red cross women use to help you cover scars up, by seeing you and the scars that you have and then use power or a stick that was abit like foundation to cover them up and to tell you other ways of covering them over, not sure if they could help you.I have loads of scars that are red all over my body, there are a few other places that maybe able to help, also there is a makeup called cover up, you chose the colour of your skin and then purchase the colour you need, but sometimes you may need to mix two colours up to get the right shade.

There is one product...maderma. I tried it but it didn't really work for me. My scars were/are to old. I think it will work for newer ones. You can buy it over the counter.

I think there are a few ways but I am not sure if they are really that effective. I saw in one commercial that you can apply an ointment on the scar and with regular use. it will disappear. You can always try to go to a dermatologist but I think that is more expensive

Hi Mark What works for me is pure Vitamin E Oil and also cocoa butter it may take a little while but it does help to fade scars not sure how it would work on raised scars though I'm sure theres some kind of cream you can get from your doctor that may work for you if nothing else does
